Message to students!
Arabic is a fascinating language that serves as the lingua franca in countries ranging from Morocco to Iraq. Many people shy away from learning it as they are afraid it is difficult, because it is so very different from English. But everyone can learn Arabic; all it takes is some time and dedication, and you will be rewarded with unique experiences and new horizons.
The Arabic I teach is the Modern Standard Arabic, which is used in written communication, hardly ever in spontaneous speech. For those who want to learn spoken Arabic, I offer beginner's lessons in the Egyptian Colloquial form of Arabic, which is understood in most of the Arab world. |
